Welcome to our updated 2012 outdoor and waterproof camera guide! There’s a whole new batch of rugged, waterproof point-and-shoot cameras for this summer with new features, better specs and better image quality. I’m a mountain biker, skier and outdoor photographer and I’ve been using waterproof point-and-shoot digital cameras since they were first introduced. I’m outside in all kinds of conditions and having a pocket camera that I don’t have to worry about dropping or getting wet means being able to take pictures all the time, regardless of weather or other conditions.
